I’ve always insisted my son be outside with me. Not working, not helping, but just be outside while I work. No tablets, no expensive stuff, just him, me, and his beautiful imagination playing in the dirt. Then the most amazing thing happened! My son started asking to help with everything and now at just seven years old he is the best helper there is!!
He makes effort to do things on his own without being asked. He is first to jump if you ask him to do something.
People wonder what’s happened to our kids, why they don’t do things like we did as kids. They don’t play or use their imaginations, they are always bored and asking to be entertained. I truly feel like it’s because we don’t let them be bored anymore. Instant gratification to every whim has destroyed their creativity.
My son will be a positive addition to society. I have no doubt in that, he is one of the best little men I’ve ever met. I have no doubt he will do great things in life because he is already ready to be and do great things!!
He made me this bouquet yesterday while we played outside. He loves his momma and he loves to be kind and caring. I pray more people are raising their children to be that too. Maybe our society can be kinder to one another someday.
